AMNI

Sanctuary Shaped by Time

Held by Nature

Bridge to Amni

Of Ammini & Resilience

Tucked away in a corner of Coorg, Amni is a sanctuary of quiet resilience, cradled by mist, surrounded by coffee, and shaped by stories of endurance.

What you see today, the waterfalls, lakes, and fruit trees, was once considered too remote, too harsh. But our grandparents stayed, beginning with a small cottage our grandfather named Amin Home.

Amni is named for them, for Ammini, our grandmother, whose grit and grace still guide us today. And for her children, who braved the dark, holding fast to the belief that this land was worth the struggle.

With no road and no electricity, they built it stone by stone, season by season. And slowly, the land softened. It bloomed.

This is not a resort. It is a retreat into the rhythm of the earth. Not curated luxury, but nature, unfiltered and generous.

Essential Details

Getting Here

Amni is tucked away near Chelavara Falls, Cheyyandane, quietly held by the hills and hidden from the digital map.

We do this intentionally to preserve the peace and sense of discovery that make this place special.

The exact location will be shared once your booking is confirmed.

The final stretch of the road is rough. An SUV is strongly recommended for comfort and ease.

Things to Know

WiFi is provided, but being in the hills, connectivity may occasionally be patchy. Most mobile hotspots work well as a backup.

The terrain is steep and uneven, and may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges.

The nearest town, Kadanga, is about 35 minutes away. We recommend picking up any essentials en route.

Meals are served at our home, just a short 2-minute walk from your cottage.

House Guidelines

For the comfort of all guests, and the land that holds us.

Where time slows, not out of stillness, but because the land itself invites you to stay.
